Selling things
I'm going to post up my re-enactment clothing to sell,  It's taking up way too much space in my cupboards and I'm never going to use them again from what I can see in the future. These would be perfect for steampunk :D

Pink Floral Flanelette type material high collar Dress - Handmade $30

this comes with a little purse and a round headdress
Green Satin ball gown - handmade (this was once a wedding dress, but a friend dyed it and customised it for me) Front Back Close up 1 Close up 2 $20
First picture is with the hoop skirt
Carpet bag $5
Tie up pocket $10

I have three Martha McCain "Fashion History" Patterns for sale as well, all unused and uncut:

posted pictures of the dress. The hoop skirt is just a white tiered hoop skirt like that on ebay. Its very flexible and you can sit and walk through doors sooo easily in it :D

Prices, well I think:

Dress: $20 + $10 postage

Hoop skirt: $20 Postage $10

I'll combine postage too :) if you are interested.

thanks luv

if they haven't purchased the bloomers and chemise, I would like to know what size they are (I'm approx 33"-26"-36") and whether or not you would accept either a personal check or money order? I'd be happy to mail the check/order to you and wait for you to cash it before receipt (because I figure a show of trust on my part might allay any fears that the money wouldn't be good...which I assure you it is). Please let me know when you can. Thanks!

If you are in austrlalia, I will accept a money order. If outside of australia I only accept paypal.

The set will definitely fit you. The chemise is a s-m size and the bloomers are one size fits all, it has soo much girth to it :)

I will let you know soon if the person above is not interested.

Thank you!

definitely outside of australia, I live in Los Angeles. I can swing paypal, but it would be through a friend's account, as I personally dislike using it for silly reasons. Keep me posted. Also, how much would shipping be?

ebony_sphynx: If you are able to use paypal, the set is yours :), but to cover myself I will post it to your friends address unless you state otherwise and have your address in the paypal payment reciept in the message section.

Sorry about all of the precautions, but prevention is rather than cure :)

I have arranged for the address to show as my own shipping address. So all is well. Just to confirm, the amount owed, including shipping, would be $40.00 USD, correct?

It's been a long time since I used paypal. How do I send the money to you? I'm ready to go once you confirm.
Thanks

you log into paypal and a tab will say "send funds" or something similar then you add in the email address, in this case mine is doona_chick @ yahoo.com.au (without the spaces) and then you type in the amount, and hit send :) it will then confirm everything and you hit send to make the payment!

Prices are in USD so you do not need to change any currency :) so that makes it easier for you :D

I hope this helps :) if you need any more help let me know :D

The chemise is a bit sheer, just so you know, but the fabic is absolutely divine to touch :)

Hey, Willow here. I was curious about the dimensions on the ballgown, if its still available.

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]doona_chick

Green Ball Gown:
Bust: 16.5 inches
Waist: 14.5 inches
Length: 58 inches

The green gown was a modified wedding gown which has been dyed green. The back panel has been moved because my friend who made it, had made it a bit too small for me even in a corset, so now the back lace does not meet up. I am sure that this can be modified if someone has the skill and time. Also I think that it might need a bit of re-hemming. I haven't worn it for a long time so I cannot remember.

:D

YAY for adding. The sizes don't work. I was kinda hoping, not for me but for my kid.

I need to get on costuming for us both, I really do.
